November 9, 2021- Anniversary of the opening of the Berlin Wall

The dismantling of the Berlin Wall began November 9, 1989. Scott and Mary Ottenberg were fortunate to have taken part by using a hammer and chisel to help tear it down. Scott and Mary are shown in the picture standing atop a section of the wall. The Brandenburg Gate, then under renovation, is in the background.
